Racing against the approaching typhoon, it was time for the mulberry harvest. 💨💜
Every year, we gather mulberries from a large tree growing beside our village road.

The berries will become homemade jam and fermented drinks.
After carefully selecting the best fruit, we freeze them, thaw them, and remove the stems one by one.

Rich in anthocyanins, these deep purple berries are one of the gifts of early summer in the Japanese countryside. 💜
